Christen McCarthy

Chris McCarthy started her business career working as an account manager for a real estate appraisal company in 1996. She obtained her appraisal license, became a team leader and was part of a large project that helped pioneer automated valuation models that many institutional lenders still utilize today. When the company was sold in 2005, Chris was offered a position as a mortgage originator. She had a very successful career for many years, but she knew that she could help her clients in more ways than just financing. In 2011, she was recruited by Prudential Financial where she studied, obtained her licenses and became a financial advisor. She quickly realized that she had found her path in life and was recognized year after year for her top performance and outstanding service. In 2019, Chris was introduced to Faith at Arter Financial Strategies and fell in love with the practice that Faith had built. From there, it was an easy decision to join the Arter Financial Strategies team.

When work is done for the day, Chris enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her two sons.  She is a volunteer for various charities, and you can oftentimes find her in the kitchen “baking for a cause”.
